Who Are We Looking For?

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who meet the following requirements:

  • Educational Background: You must have completed Grade 12 and either hold a qualification in education or be currently studying towards one from a recognized institution.
  • Clear Criminal Record: A clean criminal background is mandatory for all applicants.

Key Responsibilities

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced educators, gaining hands-on experience in the classroom while developing essential teaching skills. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and Recording: Assist in planning lessons, creating educational materials, and recording assessments to track learners’ progress.
  • Collaboration: Attend meetings, forums, and workshops with other educators and staff to ensure the effective running of the grade or phase.
  • Phase Management: Support phase leaders by working closely with them to maintain an efficient learning environment.
  • Classroom Assistance: Help create and sustain a positive learning atmosphere in the classroom. This includes managing the class, assisting with teaching activities, and ensuring learners are engaged.
  • Learner Support: Aid in the planning and implementation of teaching strategies that encourage active participation and learning.
  • Extracurricular Activities: Participate in promoting sports, arts, and cultural activities, contributing to the holistic development of learners.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks and other responsibilities as required by school leadership.
  • Commitment to Ethics: Demonstrate a strong commitment to the values and ethos of the school, contributing positively to the school community.
